Introducing our new lineup with more hands

We are dedicated to preserving the human element in all stages of creation ensuring each and every product has a soul and keeps a physical relationship with the way we once did things;

by hand.

We have been creating hand made watches, here in Lethbridge, for over a year now. Reflecting on that we are grateful for the customer support we have had, the challenges we have overcome to become better, and our even deeper appreciation for the magic in hands.

Yes, the beauty in our product comes from the miracle that the human hands are. From our local craftsmen working now dating back to the blacksmith who originally forged the historic material we use in our watches, it is through hands that our watches are brought to life. This insight has moved us to introduce even more human hands to each and every process that goes into our timepieces. Now, each individual piece will be filed and finished by hand, creating an elegant patina. The numbers and markers on the dial will now be hand painted and each and every movement will be beautifully and uniquely hand engraved with intricate detail and design.The different striations on each and every piece will undoubtedly be different and short of perfection. But we’ve always thought that something perfectly imperfect is worth our love.

Our machine gives us the general shape of the watch, but magic only happens once we get our hands on it. The shape is always the same, but never the same :)

Hand-painted dials

Not only do the contrasted numbers make it easier to read, but they're painted completely by hand in our studio! Yes it's tedious but it's an added touch that, even though small, makes a big difference in the feel and appreciation for you our customer.

Hand-engraved movements

Our goal is to move you no matter what angle you look at your Novo Watch from. That's why each movement is hand engraved adding incredible beauty and individuality to each piece.

Hand finished. By a human.

Machines are amazing and incredibly accurate, which is why we look to use them as little as possible. When we remove too much of the human element an equal amount of the product soul disappears as well. At Novo, beautifully imperfect = perfect.

WE WONT mass product watches. WE WILL carefully craft each piece individually and focus on the small stuff to make sure you're absolutelty smitten by your first (or second) Novo.
